On Saturday I took my 17 year old Grandson to Lowes Lane Shooting Ground and we were lucky enough to have Ashley Cumberland (Ash) as his guide to shooting a shotgun. My grandson has (High Functioning) Asperger's / Autism and Ash found a way to explain to him the mechanics and practicalities of how to shoot and why his advice was so important to be able to replicate success. I cannot praise Ash and the set up at Lowes Lane enough. Add to that the amphitheatre the shooting ground is set in makes this a must for anyone wishing to have a go or regularly shoot. VERY friendly and accommodating

Superb day out. Group of five have never done shooting before. Graham talked us through everything with superb knowledge and a lot of patience. We were all able to hit the target in the end. Thoroughly recommend . 🤩

First visit today to this very friendly shooting ground. Started the day with an excellent breakfast and then had a very enjoyable round of sporting targets, would certainly recommend this shoot and will soon be back , thank you.

Myself and 8 others joined for my stag do yesterday. It felt like a great place for the pros and the begginers (me). The instructors/trainers were brilliant, helpful for those who didn't get it straight away and had a laugh with everyone. Wasn't stingy on ammo and get us a few extra shells at the end. Accessible for all ages and skill level, highly recommend 👌

A fantastic family ran ground! Ash and his team do a superb job of keeping the ground in great order with fantastic targets. A comprehensive set of layouts able to provide many disciplines. Including my favourite High Skeet! The sporting layout is efficiently designed and has 3 traps per stand, allowing for greater variety, as easy or as tough as you wish! With a large car park, on sight instructors and a fantastic club house (with a large viewing deck and card payment facilities) including a lovely food and drink menu this ground is well worth a visit!

Been going to this place for a good few years now. Has Sporting, Compact, DTL, Skeet. The Sporting and Compact is changed weekly. Friendly staff. Clubroom where you can sit down, with canteen. Do a smashing cooked breakfast.

Me and Wife did a "Have a go" session, for our wedding anniversary it was amazing, everyone was so friendly. Our instructor was so knowledge, understand and helpful. It was so good we are going to do it again

As a new starter to shooting I cannot give this shooting ground enough praise. From day 1 I have been made welcome and given help through out, The ground is well cared for. Targets offered are great for all levels of shooter. Great venue.

I have only been to shoot at this ground once as I am not from the area. The owners where fantastic could not do enough to make me feel welcome a really well run ground and Ashley was there on hand to give me some pointers. I will definitely be making the journey again as I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there.

Such a friendly ‘club’ ground in every sense. Targets are changed weekly, the ground is kept immaculately by Ash and his team. Investment is continuous, like Clubhouse refurb, new traps, etc. Be assured of a very friendly and a welcoming atmosphere. Monthly Club shoots make things interesting and great fun with out of the ordinary targets always keep the fun going. Facilities include Have a go training stands, Pattern Plate, 2 Skeet Layouts, DTL, ABT and Compact Sporttrap on top of x100 ESP. Varied targets to entertain all standards of shooter. Lowes is a Level Gravelled Ground so no access issues or wellies required. Hot & Cold beverages, and hot & cold food & snacks. A Great Club Ground.
